When the Z1 or Z2 is set to the highest pressure setting, it provides a full nine hours of battery charge.

Because of the new extended life battery's longer battery running times, you receive double the battery life of the original Z1 Auto battery, giving you a full nine hours of battery capacity for your Z1 or Z2 CPAP equipment at the highest pressure setting of 20cm H2O.

If an interruption in power is detected, it acts as a backup battery.

With the PowerShell battery cradle, the Z1 can serve as a backup or replacement battery for your CPAP therapy. If there is a power outage, the backup battery will take over. Keep in mind that when the Z1 is turned on, the CPAP extended battery module does not charge.
